SharePoint NFC Programming Guide

It's simple! **The NFC chip is integrated into the holder.** You just need to program the exact SharePoint link onto the ready-to-use tag.

1

Obtain the Target SharePoint URL

Navigate to the exact document, folder, or list in your SharePoint site that you want the user to access. **Copy the full URL** from your browser's address bar. This ensures the tag links directly to the relevant asset information.

2

Use a Mobile NFC Writing App

Download a free NFC writing application (e.g., **NFC Tools** for iOS/Android, or **NXP TagWriter**). These apps allow you to encode data onto the blank NFC chip.

3

Write the URL as an NDEF Record

  • In your NFC app, select the option to **Write Tag**.
  • Choose the data record type: **URL / URI (Web Address)**.
  • Paste the full SharePoint URL you copied in Step 1.
  • Hold the **integrated NFC tag** up to your phone to write the data.

Pro-Tip: Ensure the URL starts with https:// for best compatibility.

4

Mount and Test

Once programmed, mount the tag securely onto the equipment. Test the tag with any NFC-enabled smartphone to ensure it opens the correct SharePoint link.
